From the bottle:

This Pinot Noir has an unapologetically bold character, infused with sheer joie de vivre. Born from sun-drenched vineyards in the Pays d’Oc area, Fat bastard fully embodies the vibrance of the Southern French region.

Intense, cherry red in color with flavors of crushed strawberry and wild raspberry, followed by delicate tannins and a smooth finish – a character guaranteed to elicit a smile whether enjoyed with food or on its own. Make today fabulous.

13% Alcohol

The 2020 Fat Bastard Pinot Noir opens with a pleasing, fresh and fruity aroma of strawberry and raspberry with a little cherry.

Taking a sip reveals a smooth and tasty wine that has similar flavors to the nose along with touches of spice. This is a mostly fruity Pinot that is quite easy to drink, but offers good depth and acidity. Like most Pinot at this price point, it’s simple but that doesn’t mean it’s not good.

It ends dry and long with some chalkiness under the fruit and a bit of black tea. This is solid for the low price.
