When you’re responsible for seating more than 16 million diners per month, having a strong visual brand matters.
After fifteen years as the world’s leading provider of online restaurant reservations, OpenTable needed a fresh new look to align with their modern identity. However, they couldn’t manage the largest rebrand in company history without an intuitive digital asset management platform – OpenTable needed Brandfolder.
We chatted with OpenTable’s Senior Project Manager, Rae Brune, and Brand Design Manager, Kate VandenBerghe, to get the inside scoop on how OpenTable uses Brandfolder.
“Brandfolder gave us a great number of features at the most affordable price. The Brandfolder team also worked with us to customize our Brandfolder to fit our needs. It was a nice bonus too that Brandfolder seemed really invested in design and cared about promoting great conversations about branding” Brune explained.

“For us, the idea of education and empowerment about our brand was huge. We wanted the brand site to function as a way people could learn as much as they wanted, and then get assets they needed to help share the brand” VandenBerghe added.
Now, OpenTable has a dedicated platform for sharing both public and private brand assets with those who need them most. Brune and VandenBerghe agree that their teams are more efficient and productive now that they can be sure their brand is being used the right way, every single time.
